An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale struck Dahanu in Palghar district.Representational image | ReutersYou can call it a mere coincidence or element of luck, but many of the earthquake predictions made by self-proclaimed seismic researcher Frank Hoogerbeets have turned true in the recent months. Last April, Hoogerbeets had warned that a powerful earthquake will jolt the planet, and interestingly, in the same timeline, a major tremor hit Arunachal Pradesh, India. Even though the scientific community has continuously dismissed Hoogerbeets’ claims, conspiracy theorists strongly believe that the predictions made by the researcher using an advanced system named SSGI (Solar System Geometry Index) are authentic. Now, Frank Hoogerbeets has warned that a strong earthquake which will measure 7 in the Richter scale will hit earth either on May 05 or 06. In a recent post on his website Ditrianum, Hoogerbeets revealed that a critical lunar geometry is responsible for triggering this earthquake.Hoogerbeets strongly believes that lunar geometry and planetary alignment have a direct impact on triggering earthquakes. As per Hoogerbeets, rare alignments of planets and moon are capable of destabilizing the tectonic plates here on earth, and this is causing increased seismic activities during this time.Even though Hoogerbeets is quite sure about the possible occurrence of the earthquake, he failed to reveal the exact area where this major tremor is going to hit. It should be noted that an earthquake measuring 7 in the Richter scale is quite strong, and it will cause serious casualties and structural damage in the area which will be affected. In the meantime, a section of conspiracy theorists has started claiming that it is actually the arrival of Nibiru which is causing increased seismic activities on earth. As per these conspiracy theorists, Nibiru is a rogue space body which will cause apocalypse on the earth. These conspiracy theorists believe that the gravitational field of Nibiru is so strong, and it is the real cause behind the destabilization of tectonic plates on earth.

Photo: ReutersLawmakers from South East Asia on Thursday urged the UN to act on a devastating report on atrocities against Rohingya in Myanmar and do everything it can to pave the way for justice for victims, reports UNB.The UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Geneva is expected to vote on a resolution in next week establishing an independent mechanism to document these crimes for future prosecutions, said ASEAN Parliamentarians for Human Rights (APHR).The UN-mandated Independent International Fact-Finding Mission (FFM) on Myanmar released its full report on 19 September, calling for the Myanmar military top brass to be investigated and prosecuted for crimes against humanity, war crimes and genocide.“The report by the Fact-Finding Mission is as heart wrenching as it is necessary. It adds to the mounting body of evidence that the Myanmar security forces had committed the gravest of crimes – including possible genocide – against Rohingya people,” APHR chair Charles Santiago, a member of the Malaysian Parliament.“The world must now take concrete action to ensure these atrocities are never repeated. The UN Human Rights Council can do just that by establishing an international accountability mechanism. We urge all countries – including Southeast Asian states – to lend support to a resolution to this effect.”The FFM’s report documents in detail a catalogue of rights violations by the Myanmar security forces during its “clearance operation” in Rakhine State from 25 August 2017, including killings, burnings of villages and sexual violence on a “shocking scale”.It also concludes that the Tatmadaw, the Myanmar military, should be investigated and prosecuted for war crimes in Shan and Kachin States. The FFM recommended that either the HRC or the UN General Assembly should create an international, independent, impartial mechanism, tasked with gathering evidence with a view to support future criminal prosecutions.ASEAN parliamentarians have already urged members of the UN Security Council to refer the situation in Myanmar to the International Criminal Court – the only way to guarantee a comprehensive investigation by the court covering all crimes by the Tatmadaw across the whole of the country.“With atrocity crimes unfolding in their backyard, ASEAN states simply no longer have the option to remain silent. Countries in the region must condemn Myanmar’s atrocities in a united voice, and push Members of the Security Council to refer the situation there to the ICC,” said Charles Santiago.
Krishnagar: Accusing the Centre of running parallel governments in states, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday announced that her government will withdraw from the Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme.Addressing a gathering at Krishnagar Government College ground after giving away prizes to the winners of the first Jaltarang Sports festival, she said letters bearing the photograph of Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with health cards under Ayushman Bharat scheme were being sent to individuals. The logo embossed on the letter is a lotus which is also the official party symbol of the BJP. “This is cheating. Where is the budget to provide medical assistance to the beneficiaries,” she wondered and added: “The Centre collects various kinds of taxes from the states and gives back a percentage of the collected amount. Thus, the states have a share. But the BJP is projecting it in such a manner as if it is giving the medical assistance to them.” Also Read – 3 injured, flight, train services hit as rains lash BengalThe Chief Minister said under the Constitution, health, education and law and order are State subjects and she failed to understand why the Centre is intervening into the matter. “What does Modi think of himself? Is he trying to run parallel governments in the states? I will request all the states to intensify vigil and stop this nasty practice,” she said. Banerjee further added: “The new government in Delhi will ensure that the federal structure in our country is strengthened. ” Also Read – Speeding Jaguar crashes into Mercedes car in Kolkata, 2 pedestrians killedShe said in case of crop insurance of the farmers, the Centre gives only 20 percent of the premium and publishes the picture of the Prime Minister to give a message to the farmers as if the BJP is giving the money to them. “We have decided to pay the premium on our own and have paid Rs 625 crore in 2018. Everywhere the BJP is playing dirty politics to mislead people,” she maintained. Banerjee said 10 percent reservation for economically challenged general caste “is another big hoax. Modi is lying to the masses and whenever an election comes, the quantum of lies go up. Have you received Rs 15 lakh which he had announced before the 2014 election.” She alleged that Modi has destroyed the institutions like CBI, ED and even RBI. “He has a big mouth and talks a lot. He should buy two mirrors — one to see his face and the other to see him talking. Even when he gives speeches in English, they are manipulated. When we speak, we make mistakes but we never use technology to project ourselves as flamboyant orators.” Banerjee laid the foundation stone of Kanyashree University and said a country can make progress if girls are looked after properly. She added that Kanyashree has helped girls to pursue higher education and a day will come when girls from Bengal will reach the top in every sphere of life.
