We are seeking to fill a full-time position for SeniorAssociate Dean of Academic Affairs in our nationallyacclaimed School of Osteopathic MedicineThe Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs providesleadership for the planning and implementation of all components ofthe academic programs’ administration for the medical school. Thisincludes oversight and supervision of the divisions of AlumniEngagement, Assessment, Center for Teaching and Learning,Curriculum, Registrar and Student Affairs. This role reports directly to the Dean and is a key member of theDean’s Cabinet.The Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine is locatedin Stratford, NJ, 20 minutes away from the city ofPhiladelphia.QUALIFICATIONS:DO, MD, EdD or PhD; at least ten years of experience inundergraduate medical education; at least five years of academicadministrative experience at a senior level including education,student affairs, management and administration.Outstanding leadership, interpersonal communication,collaboration, team-building, and negotiation skills with a variedconstituency (students, faculty, chairs, staff) are essential.Ability to work with people from diverse racial, ethnic, genderidentity, and socioeconomic backgrounds and adapt a flexibleleadership style for multiple cultural environments with a strongknowledge of racial health disparities. Experience with theosteopathic medical school landscape is preferred.
