PANORAMA CITY – The nephew of a tenant at an apartment building died tonight when fire swept through a third-story corner unit, witnesses and fire officials said. The fire started at about 5:45 p.m. at the building at 8070 Langdon Avenue after witnesses heard an explosion and saw people fleeing the building. Fire officials said a male body was taken from the unit after the blaze was put out. Officials did not release the identity of the victim.
